The only way I found to fix this is to re-extract your dolphin revision. Otherwise you may end up overwriting them and finding yourself starting over Otherwise good luck. I appreciate this, will notify you if I ever found more cheats. Basty Member. Thanks for the new codes Basty, I updated the list. Aeronx Junior Member. Well, I'm seeing that a bunch of these are coming from the gecko codes for the USA version.
That would be your best chance I think. Thundering Junior Member. How do I get these to work? You can beat the monster as the best time. View a Printable Version Subscribe to this thread. Linear Mode. Threaded Mode. It's your call though. I for one would buy Tri and then get Ultimate as well when it comes out.
Tri is cheap now soo You only get a part of the game offline. End-game equipment is also OP'd offline, where the monsters are much weaker than the second half of the online quests.
UlNin 9 years ago 6. I think it entirely depends on what type of games you are into. And I loved Skyward Sword. That said, Offline is really only a small portion of the game. Even if you dislike multiplayer, I would suggest going Online just to get at the extra content.
You are welcome to solo online quests, and the game has a Status indicator you can use to indicate that you are solo-ing. Anyways, the other thing to consider is that Monster Hunter is not your typical game.
There is a fairly steep learning curve and while progression is generally paced well, there are some fairly brutal difficulty spikes I'm looking at you Barroth. It's pretty grindy and the gameplay itself is more about thinking ahead than twitch reflex. On a closing note, I see you asked about story mode. The game is primarily story mode, with the other, smaller, much less frequently played portion being Arena. But it is really story mode in name only as there is next to no story.
Everyone keeps talking about how a large portion of the game's content is online only, therefore this game isn't worth it if you're going to play offline because you're missing a huge portion of the game. That doesn't make sense. UlNin 9 years ago 8. It's slightly complicated for me to answer this question since I got Tri as a gift. But do I think the Offline portion only is worth full price retail? For me, absolutely yes. And the Online portion has expanded that even more.
Hands down, the best game I never bought. I wasn't even making a judgment about whether or not it's worth it for offline content only in that above post. I just wanted people to start thinking about it in the right way. I forgot to mention that once you think about it that way, the fact that it still has online capability AND that people are hacking the game to make it more enjoyable is a BONUS.
I could argue that "maybe there will be a hack to buff the monsters," but that is completely missing the point.
If you think the game is not fun when you're overpowered offline, it is not a valid counter-argument to my point. It is neutral. HINT: You have the option of not hacking the game. I'm more of a local multiplayer guy, so if Ultimate features "true" local co-op unlike just the arena in Tri , I think I'll go for that one instead.
If it doesn't though, I'll probably settle for Tri. As long as I can get an hour out of every dollar I paid for it offline, I'll be happy, and it sounds like a huge timesink :D so yeah, thanks for the input. More topics from this board
